    Report:
No visible bait. The beach and inlet area were deserted. But a stray bluefish, 17", and a stray striper, 18" hit my Krocodile spoon. Lower part of incoming tide. After not getting any more hits, I decided to try 2 spots to the W on the way home. The mid-bay spot was likewise deserted, and I had no hits. The popular spot in the Western Bay had plenty of bait fishermen by dusk, but I saw nothing caught. I caught 1 snapper on a Krocodile spoon. 3 days ago, I tried both bait and lures. The bunker was chewed up repeatedly. I suspected snappers, and now I know that they are still there.
