Got this 24" puppy drum about an hour after dead low tide. It took a piece of cut mullet on a fish finder rig. The bite came just inside the break on the outside bar. I was fishing 7 ounces of lead and not totally holding bottom.
Not a huge fish but it is my first puppy drum this fall.
