Report: This has been my 1st trip out in the past few weeks. The bass fishing is starting to build momentum and today's fishing was fairly decent. As we were riding down the beach, Rob noticed suspended fish on the fish finder. A quick U-turn and double anchors placed us just uptide of the fish. The NNW wind coupled with the ebb had us lying perfectly straight and it didn't take long for the bass to find our fresh clams. We picked away for the remainder of the tide and at times there would be multiple fish on. When the tide slowed we moved over to the edge of the channel where there was more current. We didn't catch any bass there, however 4 blackfish were landed with 2 being keepers. I tallied 10 bass for the day with 3 being keepers. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
