  Report:
  started at deal, line in the water by 4:30am. no life. fished there till about 8-9am. drove to asbury, 1 guy proudly walking off the jetty with a 22-24" bass. gotta love those guys. no life there either. drove to the hook, scoped out a few parking areas with nothing doing there either. threw a bottle plug off the rocks at officers row for a half hour with no luck. drove to leonardo, nothing going on there as well. took a nap in the truck, drove to port monmouth, ghost-town. packed it in at 1:30pm with nothing to talk about. threw my entire surf bag, ava's/deadly dicks/sluggos/shads/plugs/bucktails/poppers/teasers/no teasers etc........ met a few local fishermen along the way for some good chat, thats about all.
