    Report:
The majority of the day was spent jigging while the final hour was spent anchored fishing clams. I didn't bring my "A" game this morning as bass were caught all around me on the jigs as I struggled for just a few. The catch was a mixture of large bluefish and short to just keeper sized bass. Vast schools of sand eels could be seen on the surface at times and although the fish didn't show themselves the recorder did show some impressive readings. Trollers in the area were constantly hooking up on shad and tube rigs as we chased the small flocks of working birds. I ended the day with 7 stripers, no keepers, and four large bluefish. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
