    Report:
Started a 7 President's Park in Long Branch, and worked my way S for a while. The area seemed dead w/ no visible bait. Upon returning to the parking lot, 2 bait fishermen, just starting, told me that the popular Monmouth Beach spot had a number of vehicles in its parking lot. Ariiving there, I found a "picket line" of lure casters in front of the entrance and streching N. Moving somewhat N, I saw 1 bent rod, and then fish breaking right in front of me. Landed 2 bluefish on my 1st 2 casts. Later blind casting produced 1 more bluefish and 2 striped bass, 20", fork length. Bluefish were 2-to-3#. All fish were released, w/ the stripers being tagged before being released. Later PM to dusk produced nothing as the bait seemed to have disappeared.
