Water Temperature: Unknown Water Clarity: Murky Seas: 1' or Less; 6-8'+Swells Weather: Overcast with light NW wind Fishing_for: Striped Bass Boat: Sea Hunter captain: Rob
Report: The ocean was flat with the light NW winds, but the swells were enormous. This weeks NE storm totally disrupted the great fishing that we experienced earlier in the week. Early attempts at jigging proved useless and when we stopped to clam on what was "THE" spot for bass last week we were greated by hordes of hungry dogfish. After searching different areas for life, Rob eventually set us up at Romer Bar, downtide of the breakers where we experienced a decent pick of mostly short bass with a few keeepers mixed in. Besides, there weren't any dogfish there. I managed 9 short bass for the trip although many fares got the skunk. Hopefully, as the water settles down, the fishing should return to normal in a few days. Tight lines! TINKNOCKER
