Water Temperature: . Water Clarity: Ok Seas: light chop, some swells, becoming calm. Weather: Mostly sunny, moderate NW wind, that diminished to zero. Fishing_for: bluefish Boat: 18-ft. Parker CC captain: Rodney
Report:
Left GK Harbor Inlet at @ 10AM and found a large fleet in the "between channels" area. Occasional birdplay, but the birds, and fish, moved fast. I was able to land 2 10# bluefish on metal before the action completely shut off. We then tried drifing w/ the outgoing tide in 2 spots. 1st, off the False Point of Sandy Hook; & 2nd, near the Romer Shoals Lighthouse. The latter spot had surfacing sandeels, but neither of the last 2 spots produced a hit.
