    Report:
Started at @ 11:30AM at the N end of Lavallette. 3 PB in the area, and the tide was low enough to wade out on a sandbar. No hits here, and the 3 PB moved S, w/ 2 of them ending up off the N end of IBSP. That's where I moved, and stayed until dark. On-and-off birdplay well beyond casting range. All of us on the beach hoped that the birds would move in, but they never did. About 20 minutes after sundown I got my only hit, and landed a 24" bass. This fish was caught on my "after-sundown" lure, a Rapala LC swimming plug. In sunlight, I threw metal, usually w/ a green tail. I did not see anyone else get a fish.
