Seas: Heavy swells, in spite of the strong offshore wind.
Weather: Party cloudy, strong WNW wind

Report:
Started at @ 1PM. Birdplay in close this time. but of the many scattered fishermen, no one appeared to be catching anything. Working S, I eventually caught 1 striper, a fat 18". I saw no other fish caught. Birds were constantly diving in close, picking up sandeels, and seversl times I snagged a sandeel on my single-hook lure. There were no boats to be seen; apparently the gale warnings kept the boats tied to the dock.
