Report:
Started at 7AM. Hoped to have a repeat of the early AM action that was reported for yesterday. Did not happen! Early on, I chased fast-moving, working birds, w/ no swirls under them, and did not get a hit. Moving back to the throng of fishermen, I noticed that most were getting nothing. But one tall gentlemen was picking away at shorts, and most, if not all, of his fish were caught on a teaser. I have not been using a teaser all Fall because I believe that a teaser reduces casting diatance. But now was the time to switch rigs; eventually I landed 2 stripers, 21" and 18", on a bucktail teaser. After a long lull, a 16" bass ignored the teaser, and hit a 1oz spoon w/ green tail. The tide was outgoing for the 1st 2 fish, incoming for the last.
