Report:
Started the new year off right. Ocean was flat as a lake. Made one drop all day on a very sticky piece of the Sandy Hook Reef. Took about 15-20 minutes to build some life then we had a pretty consistent bite. White crabs seemed to hold an edge over greens. I was getting bites on both but it seemed that wherever I fished on the boat I was the designated short catcher as only 1 out of the 15 tog I caught was legal.Once the tide started running hard the bite dropped to next to nothing. 5 of us were able to put 16 to #7 on ice. Not a bad way to start the new year.
