Report:
We were in the water by 7 oclock in the morning and we stopped at a marina to get frozen shrimp. we fished a small marsh opening that connects two larger bodies of water.the two currents created a swirl pool where baitfish hung out.we spotted redfish quickly.
we caught five keepers between 18 and 22 inches and three good size drum.we caught alot that were to small also, all in a two hour period.note that the largest redfish was caught with a topwater lure we swithed to instead of frozen shrimp after we spotted the fish.the wind picked up alot so we came back in or we would have caught our limit of redfish.
