    Report:
Jason and I were 2 of the 30 fares this evening aboard the Misty Morn. Couldn't have asked for better conditions with an out going tide and a light WNW wind. I started off using the right I've been fishing most of the year. A 1.5 ounce Spro tipped with a 4" chartreuse GULP swimming mullet and a standout out 10"s above tipped with a 3" new penny GULP shrimp. Jason alternated between the same rig, a bucktail/teaser combo & dragging bait. We started fishing the secondary ward Channel by the Triangle. Good action right away with fluke in the 16-17". Once we got mid channel the bite tapered off. I did manage to put the first keeper on the boat on the second drift in the same area. took a ride to the east near buoy 20. wind out here was SE and with the outgoing tide we really didn't have a drift. However, I did manage to put the second keeper on the boat here. 6 out of my 7 first fluke came on the Spro, including both keepers. Moved back to the west by the #41 can. Had decent action here with allot of 17.5" throw backs but another pair of keepers did come up. Kept moving slightly to the west and had action at every drop. More keepers were starting to be decked. I added a third keeper to our cooler before Jason added a keeper of his own. All my fish when we moved back to the west came on the GULP shrimp. By the the end of the trip there were @ 13 keepers caught. I ended being high hook with 3. My third keeper was good enough to tie for the pool. Both fish weighed an even 4 pounds.
