Report: The weather and drifting conditions were great today. Cool breezes off of the ocean kept the temperature bearable and at the same time created decent drifting conditions. The fish were scattered more than usual as some areas produced flurries of action while others just maybe a fish or two or even none. Jim and I fished bucktails and Gulp, as usual, for the entire trip with shorts far outnumbering the keepers, as usual. At days end we still managed 5 keeper fluke out of the 85+ fish that we caught. No big fish, just nice thick 18"+ fluke. The only drawback to the day was the seemingly never ending boat traffic exiting and entering the river, but that's to be expected on the weekend. Tight lines! TINKNOCKER
