Fished Saturday picked a few keepers on a plain 6 inch white Gulp Grub, tied off 16 inches above my sinker standing about 8 inches off the leader. it was a soild bite until about 10 AM. Then just pick after that.
Fished Sunday, only one keeper and 10 shorts the ocean was a little bumpy for my Montauk. Headed back to the inlet around 11AM. I did see a guy in the back channel between Brys & Shark River Hills Marina nail a bunch of Fluke on Peanuts, of course I had the wrong bait on board.
Both days fished 55 to 62 ft. of water a little north of the Red Church.
