Spearing on the teaser & gulp on the ball jig. 5 shorts, no keepers. Wednesday: Slow drift until about 4:30. Then it picked up. 9 shorts, no keepers. Bucktailing w/ Gu;p on the teaser and on the 2oz ball jig. All 3 days, we fished SE of the tip of Sandy Hook, in the channel, or just off the edge. Wednesday, we were closer in than Monday or Tuesday. In fact, on Monday, we tried 1 drift all the way beyond the channel, near the Scotland buoy. The other PB also fished the same area -- no one is fishing in the bay.
