Report:
Beautiful weather, light crowd, fished one side. Unlike the reports from the AM, the drift was slow enough to bucktail, 1st w/ a 3oz Spro & then a 2oz Spro. Gulp on the teaser accounted for 12 while the bucktails caught another 3. Barely keeper size, 3 went into the cooler. We were in the vicinity of the Sandy Hook Ch and the entrance to the Swash Ch. There was incoming tide w/ a W wind. While the lines went away from the boat into the wind, the boat was actually moving slowly against the wind w/ the tide. Toward the end of the trip, the sea robin action really picked up, but I also caught a double- header of fluke as well a double-header of sea robins.
