Report:
Started off with no drift for most of the morning, fished around sticky stuff from Long Branch to Shrewsbury Rocks. I had no keepers and 25 shorts. Most of the fish caught were about a 1/4 mile east of the last green can @ the rocks. Most of the Sea Bass were a 1/2 inch short, but they became a pest. The tide turned on about 1 PM. Zig Zaged back to the inlet from the beach to 65 ft. I did find a nice thick patch of Weakfish about a mile north of the Red Church 30 ft water , but they were all about 10 inches, so we left them alone.
I did not see one keeper today, at one time or another Capt. Cal, Skylarker and some other charters were on the same drift. Not to many nets over the side, I also noticed an increase of Skates today.
Chuck
