Report:
Drove down to Gloucester Point (about 2 hrs) to see if the croaker were in. Arrived at about 1030pm. I fished using squid and it was slow the first hour and a half (only caught two small fish and threw them back) things picked up later. At around midnight the bite picked up quite a bit. From midnight to 4am I caught about seventeen fish. The fish were not very large, most were about 9 to 11 inches, edible but nothing to brag about. Larger fish should start showing up closer to me further north in Tappahannock within the next week or two. I will post then and let you know how it goes. Tight lines and take a kid fishing.
