Report: Monday: Fished the latter part of incoming tide, caught nothing. Left before the "top of the tide", and, the next day, heard that that's when they came in. Tuesday: 1 bluefish at the "top of the tide." Wednesday: Strong WNW wind made the bayshore spot virtually unfishable. Went to Sandy Hook, Area E, and walked North, throwing various lures. Eventually a 21" striper hit a 1oz Krocodile spoon. then a tiny (11") striper on the same spoon. Thursday: 1 bluefish at the bayshore spot. Today, Saturday: Arrived at the bayshore spot before mid-incoming tide and stayed into the outgoing at dark. 15 bluefish, some only about 4#, but the largest looked like 12-to-15#.
