Submitted by Cliff Roberts (ip 72.68.64.19)

  • Fished on 6/14/2017

  • Report received: 6/15/2017

Water Temperature: 70's
Water Clarity: Murky
Seas: Flood/Ebb Tide
Weather: Overcast in the AM giving way to bright sun; Easterly winds 5-10
Fishing_for: Fluke
Boat: Rental
captain: Cliff

Report:
Sorry for the late report. Jim & I fished on Wednesday and basically caught fish all day. The East wind coupled with the flood tide created excellent drifting conditions and the fluke were feeding heavily on shrimp and juvenile winter flounder. The majority of the fish were concentrated in one area, so short drifts were needed to keep putting fish in the boat. We managed 3 keepers (only keeping 2) out of the 68 fluke that we caught, but for us it's all about the catching on light tackle, not the keeping. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
