# 60270: Subject: Navesink River, New Jersey

Submitted by Cliff Roberts (ip 72.68.64.19)

  • Fished on 6/17/2017

  • Report received: 6/17/2017

Water Temperature: Unknown
Water Clarity: Turbid
Seas: Ebb/Flood Tide
Weather: Overcast, Fog, Sporadic Rain Showers, Light Easterly Winds
Fishing_for: Fluke
Boat: Rental
captain: Cliff

Report:
The fluke bite in the river has been fairly consistent this past week and although we didn't catch as many as we did Wednesday it was still a good day. The weather kept the joy riders off of the river and gave us weekday conditions on a Saturday. The fish are not everywhere, so again, short drifts were required over the more productive areas. Jim and I each landed our limit out of the 41 fluke that we caught. Tight Lines! TINKNOCKER
