SUBJECT: # 40041: Penn Reel 113H Special Senator

I have taken apart my Penn reel to clean, lost the dog spring, found the dog spring (finally), but now can't remember what order to put it in. Can anyone let me know where the dog and dog spring go? Thanks, Rex Wheeler

The dog goes on a screw in the side plate and the spring pushes it on the notched plate under the main gear. If you have any Penn reel they are all simular; take another one apart, but don't lose the spring. Hint: when taking one apart loosen the four screws and rotate the plate with the main gear to show the dog, don't just pull it out.
