...with bringing a surf rod to Gulf Shores in July? Headign there for a week with the family. Is it worth the bother of getting up early, or is it all night fishing at that time of year, or are fish all off shore?

Mike,My wife and I visited Gulf Shores last May. It is definitely worth bringing a surf rod. Send me your email address and I will share some photos of the fish that I caught. I initially posted this response as a new subject by mistake.
