SUBJECT: # 9306: Need help surf fishing

Submitted by Walt from FL on 7/10/2007 7:13:00 AM

I've been taking my 2 teen agers surf fishing in NE Florida regularly and were getting discouraged. Very infrequent catches. I'd really appreciate some specific advice on tackle, rig set ups, bait, techniques and locations. Seems like a fun sport and a good way to keep teen age boys out of trouble, but we need to catch to keep their interest. Thanx for any help.

Best to wait until fall. The dog days of summer is tough for surf fishing. You will also want to try it on the incoming tides as well.
