I've tried it - when I first used it I liked it- mono with the non-stretch of a braid. I caught several good sized bluefish (15lb range) on the 17lb sensor. Then the next weekend when I used it, it snapped off on the first fish. I tried breaking it in my hands and it snapped with the ease of rotted 2 lb test. Never again!
