OK, Gentlemen, An old friend once posted here but he seems to have dropped out of sight. On the chance that someone on this board - or a chance reader - might have some info, this post is made.
The gentleman lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland - is a veteran and goes by the name Mesich although his real name is Neil.
Does anyone have any information as to his whereabouts ? I miss trading information with his as his words of wisdom were always right on target.

I've been around this board since about a month after it started. "Meisch" doesn't jog my memory. Was that his board handle here?Been quite a few Marylanders. Gonefishin', DougP, DPowell, John Kreplansky, agentfox are some of the ones I remember most. About the only one left is Gone and he hangs on the Non Fishing board. I know his real name isn't Neil ;-)
Run a Google search under "stripers" or "striped bass" and check some of the other East Coast fishing sites and maybe he'll pop up.

Many thanks for your effort - hope to find this old gent - as said earlier, he is an encyclopedia of fishing lore concerning surf casting in the Maryland / Virginia area as well as the once mighty Chesapeake.Thanks again

YC, My thanks, Sir, for your thoughts. Mesich stopped posting with Frosty at the time the Florida Board underwent the big format change. I've been trying to find him since then as has Earl, but we just haven't been too lucky. I did enjoy his insight and his willingness to openly share.I pray he hasn't left us for good.
