SUBJECT: # 9159: panama city surf

Submitted by little rascal (207.69.140.33) from GEORGIA on 7/8/04 2:47:00 PM

Went down the week before July 4th. No sandfleas, not even fozen. No live shrimp, either frozen or market fresh, and of course plenty of squid on hand. Anyway, not much going on in the surf with bait, was a fair amount of seaweed, did however catch 1 whiting on shrimp.A couple of mornings at dawn, got on a couple schools of poorman's tarpon (ladyfish) with a spoon. It was fun. Sure would have liked to seen a lost school of Pomp's though.
