SUBJECT: # 9322: LBI September surf fishing question

I am going down to LBI for two weeks. I am planning to do a great deal of surf fishing. I want to make sure I bring the right tackle/bait. Any suggestions as to what I should bring? What kind of fish are biting? Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks guys!
Oh....we rented a house in Brigton Beach.
