SUBJECT: # 32955: Surf fishing the Sebastian Area

Submitted by Dustin from FLORIDA on 12/17/2000 12:07:00 PM

I am taking a trip to the Sebastian area next week and was curious about the area's surf fishing. I have read quite a bit about the surf fishing around Sebastian, but need some advice on where to go and what lures to use for species of gamefish that are available this time of year. In my area around J-Ville, surf fishing with artificials is not very reliable. Is the surf fishing around Sebastian likely to be different?

There are jetties at the inlet, with the north side being longer and more popular. For up-to-date info and live bait, stop at Wabaso Tackle on the corner where you turn off US 1.
