SUBJECT: # 35401: Casting a large fishing net

Submitted by Ben Comer from NORTH CAROLINA on 7/8/01 9:12:00 AM

Can any of you point me to a good site that will teach me to cast a large fishing net. I bought a 7 ft radius net (14 ft diameter), but I am having trouble getting it open consistently. Please reply to bcomer@newsouthtech.com. Thanks.

I bought the "Art of Cast Net Throwing", 60 min, for $17.50 plus $3.50 shipping (http://www.alsfish.net/cgi-local/cart.pl). It was pretty good. I'll ship it to you for $14.00, and I'll pay for shipping if you want it. Ken.
