SUBJECT: # 35538: Whats the best fishfinder for the money?

Submitted by Mike from PENNSYLVANIA on 7/20/01 9:02:00 PM

Hey, i'm going down to dale hollow lake in 2 weeks. i was wondering, what is the best fishfinder for around $200? I want a fishfinder that is portable that clips on to the side of the boat, and i want something that you can see use to determin the bottom structure. thanks, Mike

I'm sure there some good portable fish finders, but you might not need one unless you get into real deep water. That is the clearest water I've seen around here. I have not fished it in a long time, but when I did, I could see a white bomber all the way back to the boat at midnight on a full moon!
