Is it me, or is tuna fishing done for the year already, especially off NJ?

    They were hitting them hard at the Hot Dog Off Ocean City just prior to the blow this weekend...the fleet was out today....maybe they're still there?

    Water temps are still good all the way to the NE Canyons, should still be plenty of fish around, although more hit or miss than earlier in the year!

    It has been the best year for Bluefins in years. Maybe the big Bluefins chased the little yellowfins away? In mid August we killed the yellows; but now they are gone. I just hope they come back!!

    I might try the Jackspot or 20 Fathom Fingers for yellowfin. supposedly several weeks ago there were reports of them being inshore.
