Fishbuster Charters' Captain Dave Hanson used live bait with light tackle this week, 8-10 miles off Bonita Beach, and 5 miles off the Registry Resort in Naples, with parties headed by Roy Glasgow, Peter Haluenen, and Jay Jergunson. The bite was slow, and the heat intense, but anglers caught some nice mangrove snapper and Spanish mackerel to 30 inches. They released triggerfish to 14 inches, bluefish to 18 inches, blue runners, and grouper shorts. They lost two big grouper, but it was good to to even see some nice sized ones out there.
