I am going on a holiday to the island of Koh Samui off the coast of Thailand. Does anyone have any info on whether or not I should try some salt water fly fishing there. Chances of catching, where to fish, permits etc?

Here are some better locations to post your question - at the top of this page click on "SW Flyfishing" and post it there. Then, below are the 3 largest flyfishing sites on the web, with lots of international travelers posting questions and answers and all 3 are good places to also post your question.
1. http://flyfishing.about.com/ Scroll down and on the left side of the Home page click on "Foreign Waters," then when that page opens click on "International Bulletin Board" and post your question there. This site is currently experiencing server problems and may be a little slower than normal in loading.
