SUBJECT: Dredge teaser for offshore, anyone use one?

Wondering if anyone here uses or has used a dredge offshore? We're trying one tomorrow out of Port A., TX. Wondering if there's any special tricks I should know? We're rigging a small one (4 bars) with artificials, plastic squid & fish. Do fish come up and hit the dredge very often, or do they always hit the dropback bait? How deep under should you run it? Is tangling a big problem when setting out?
