SUBJECT: # 37944: Idiot NASCAR racer and TV guys crash boat

Submitted by Squid Vishes (68.10.140.183) from VIRGINIA on 9/15/02 6:46:00 PM

Did anyone get the whole story about the fools on NBC and the racer who ran his boat up on the rocks and just about sank it?

I caught the tail end of the story and saw them all joking around about how they hit the rocks at 45 mph and there was only 1 life jacket on board. Isn't that fineable offense?

The last theing that the good people of the USCG need to be doing is rescueing a bunch of rich fools running their high speed toys.

Please let's hear about NASCAR fines and USCG fines for these idiots. What's worse it that they go on TV and laugh about it and act like it's a lot of fun.

Great examples they set, eh?

I've stopped watching autoracing unless it is on race course, rather than around and around in circle. These nascar guys probably lean to the left in everything they do, hence the rocks. Bill "Buy American!"
