SUBJECT: # 39150: Banded Rudder, Mangs, Lanes, Yellowtail & Shark: SW FL Fishbuster Dave Submitted by Fishbuster Dave from FLORIDA on 5/22/04 12:28:00 PM I fished Wednesday with the Dick Leonard party, around several ledges and about 29 miles off Naples in 70 feet. Conditions were much improved over our recent high winds and seas, but still a bit sloppy out there. We used live shrimp, and had a great time catching several banded ruder fish (similar to amberjack). We also caught keeper mangrove snapper, yellowtail snapper, and lane snapper, triggerfish, porkfish, and porgies, until a goliath grouper showed up to eat everything we tried to reel in.
