First Annual Maine Yacht Center
Sport Fishing Tournament
The First Annual Maine Yacht Center Sport Fishing Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 31, and Sunday, August 1, 2004.
Prizes to be awarded for winners in all categories presented at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2004, at Maine Yacht Center, 100 Kensington Street, Portland, ME 04103.
Categories for sport fishing are: Bluefish, Mackerel, Stripers, Two Divisions: Adult & Youth (under 16).
Also, there will be a separate Tuna category.
First place for tuna is $1,000 prize, plus trophy.
2nd and 3rd place Tuna winners receive a trophy, plus prizes.
Bluefish, Mackerel, Striper categories will have awards for
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place with trophies and prizes awarded for each.
There will be a raffle at the end of the fishing tournament at Maine Yacht Center, and you must be present to collect the prize if you win! There will be thousands of dollars worth of gift certificates and prizes raffled – so don’t miss this !
Fee to enter: Game Fish: $25 Tuna $150
If you wish to enter this Tournament, you must attend one of the Captain’s informational meetings at the Maine Yacht Center, 100 Kensington Street, Portland, ME 04103:
7:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2004 snacks & beverages provided.
8:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004 coffee & donuts provided.
Based on attendance and response, the $1,000 tuna prize could be higher.
Part of the proceeds from this fishing tournament will be donated to a local charity.
