I've gotten no responses on the other pages, they don't have the traffic (veiwers) so I need to try elsewhere. I need help with trailer mfg. for a 24' bay boat,Triton 240 LTS with a 250hp Verado. Are there any mfg to stay clear from? Who stands behind their product for service, warranty?? Need a tandem axle, brakes on one axle (Maryland law?), aluminum I-beam frame, bunks not rollers to list a few items. Thanks for any help.

Submitted by Capt. Ken Roy Tale Spinner Charters from FL says Call Triton and see what they recommend.
I am sure they will recommend what is best for your boat. Hopefully they will suggest more than one or two manufacturers so you can do a little price shopping.
I've found that it is usually best to go to the manufacturer. You might even get a deal.
If you plan on doing serious trailering, over kill is a good thing. Maintaining a trailer RIGHT is a good thing too.

The trailer dealer near the boat location is in point Pleasant NJ. The guy, I believe the owner, was more than helpful and took all the time needed to fine the "right fit". We ended up with the Loadrite. I asked if after the boat was loaded and needed some adjustment would he help and he said "Yes". Don't worry I am keeping in mind that he IS a salesman. But am looking to the positive side of things. Any more info will still be helpful. This is a GREAT board, info from all over.
