SUBJECT: # 27931: Merc 125 L4 - Questions about water pump replacement

This belongs to a friend, he thinks it's a '96, and I told him it's probably a straightforward job if we can get the right information and supplies before we start. 1 - It appears from the pictures of the water pump kits that you normally replace the impeller, cup, and gaskets and reuse the housing; is this correct? 2 - Aside from the water pump kit, are there any special adhesives or greases required? Of course, we plan to coat all of the bolts with gasket sealer. 3 - What is the best manual for this motor? Haven't read anything good about Seloc, but the factory manual I got years ago for my Merc 400 wasn't very helpful, either. Thanks.
