SUBJECT: # 27939: utility trailer for inflatable?

Submitted by deepdrop (75.69.134.198) from NEW HAMPSHIRE on 8/11/2009 2:29:00 PM

I have a 10 1/2 foot inflatable and I need a trailer for it. I can get a boat trailer but I was thinking of getting a 5x8 utility trailer from Home Depot, adding bearing buddies, waterproof lights, and using it for the inflatable. I realize it's not a boat trailer, but it would come in handy for many other uses.
Does anyone have any thoughts on why this might not be a good idea, or any suggestions to make it work? Thanks.

....fillin that inflatable up with helium?

Had one on Lake Conroe a few years back that had a dang 'ultralight aircraft motor', wings, mounted with 'air prop' soaring around the cove with the buzzards and stuff.

Weirdest thing I saw all day.
