Does anybody have any first hand experience with the center console splash guard/poor man's curtains sold by Boater's World and Overton's for $299. Wondering if they are worth a damn... Ad in the catalog claims they were developed for law enforcement on the Great Lakes. Would be a hell of a lot cheaper than custom curtains...

I was wondering the same thing! There's a better picture of the same product in the Boat/US catalogue (same $). I wrote the manufacturer to get more information about it and specifically how it attaches/mounts to the floor. That was 6 weeks ago...no response.
Unfortunately, it's not carried in the local store. The person there told me it comes with mounting hardware that you screw into the floor around the console and it attaches to these.
I'd like to know more too, before I buy it.
If you find anything about it, please forward the info.
Thanks, Scott

I owned them for two whole hours before I returned them. They are generic and wont fit any one boat very well. When I pulled them around my console top (21 CC) they were folded over on the floor in front and about 8" too short on the sides. For 4-5 hundred you can get custom ones.
