Looking at the Pangas on this website. Anyone has any feedback on them? Hows the ride? Speed?, how they handle offshore? Thanks.

Alex from GA (24.197.153.184) from GEORGIA says Pangas.
Pangas were originally made for the Sea of Cortez with it's short chop and no swells. The bottom is sharp in front and tapers to a flat, or nearly flat stern. It doesn't take a lot of power to push but the rough water ride isn't the best. They are fairly narrow for the length so don't have the room of other boats. The charter pangas in Baja are usually the 22ft or 24ft super pangas. The 22s have a 40-60hp outboard while the 24s usually have a 60-100hp engine. They go fast enough for the conditions; usually cruise at about 20-25mph. My best advice is to ride in one before you buy.

Salsa (66.214.23.160) from CALIFORNIA says Amato Pangas
I went to the Fred Hall fishing show in Long Beach Kalifornia yesterday and was impressed with Amato pangas. I know it won't do you any good, but it is a point of reference.

Allan (144.9.158.105) from FLORIDA says Panga Marine 22
The Panga Marine 22 (The Original!) is a perfect crossover boat. Our 22's draft is around 8 inches, depending on your power, and is also capable of offshore water. More boat for your money, less power and fuel to operate. The Panga Marine 22 is constructed in Mexico, using US materials and techniques. A fiberglass stringer/frame grid system and modern composite materials eliminate all wood from the build. NO WOOD NO ROT.
