Submitted by Joe (151.203.119.77) from MASSACHUSETTS on 9/25/05 2:24:00 AM

We need to re-power this winter 150HP will be the size. 19' CC semi deep v (18d deadrise). Just looking to pick the brains of you guys about the "good, bad and the ugly" concerning the numerous possibilities. So what do you like and why? Thanks guys, Joe.

If you had a 150 2 stroke before the only thing that will match it is an Evinrude E-Tec or a Merc Optimax. Yams F150 4 stroke is a dog. Etec is the way to go.. Evinrudes 150/175/200 small block all weigh the same about 410lbs..

In all fairness I should mention Suzuki's new 150/175 4 strokes, but they are not out yet so we don't know how they perform.

Merc's 4 stroke Verado's 150/175's are heavy and not out yet..
