Submitted by Eric r (76.105.109.142) from GEORGIA on 10/7/2008 8:53:00 PM

I just succesfullly sold my business and am looking to relocate to mexico to relax and well enjoy the fruits. i was wandering if i should bring my sea ray 21 cc with 305 i/o that i recently put alot of work new floors new fiberglass every were and was gonna outfit with all the nautical radar fish finders and other items. i was lookin at towing my boat to pv and using as my own personal fishing platform now i understand not going to far out to sea and well im looking for some common sense to see wether it would be practical and beneficial to be able to run a small fishing boat out of the saea of cortez any feedback would be beneficial

I don't know where pv is but the Sea of Cortez is a great place for a small boat. When I lived in CA I towed to Baja every year for 10 or more years and had a ball. The only trouble is there are few ramps on the peninsula and you have to carry gas in cans. If pv is Puerto Vallarta it's way south of the Sea of Cortez. There is a good west coast saltwater site you should investigate. Allcoast.
