SUBJECT: # 9652: Does anyone know what the current holdings of US Marine are?
Submitted by
Craig (205.217.215.130) from PENNSYLVANIA on 4/14/99 1:19:00 PM
In previous discussions, I remember it was Bayliner, Maxum, Robalo,
Boston Whaler and SeaRay, plus a couple of motor companies. Is that still
accurate?
We are having the usual Bayliner vs SeaRay argument and I was trying to
get my facts straight.
Thanks.

Craig, In reality U.S. Marine no longer exixsts. All the boats you mentioned are part of Brunswick Corp. which, of course, also owns Mercury.

JWL, Actually I work for Mercury and U.S. Marine does exist. It goes like this, Brunswick owns U.S. Marine and all the boat brands under U.S. Marine. Sea Ray does not fall under U.S. Marine.
They are a seperate Boat company under Brunswick.
Just wanted to clarify...

Jwl (204.48.31.176) from TEXAS says Thanks Chuck, You made my point - They are owned by Brunswick Corp. even though they are called U.S. Marine. Just a division of Brunswick. Thanks
